Welcome to Doodle-n-Dye!

I'm Paula, the creator behind Doodle-n-Dye. After spending 30 wonderful years as a teacher, life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. During treatment, I needed something that would lift my spirits, keep my mind busy, and give me something positive to focus on. Creating this little shop became that bright spot. It gave me a creative outlet, a renewed sense of purpose, and a way to help support my family. Today, I'm incredibly grateful to say that I am cancer-free.

People often ask how I came up with the name Doodle-n-Dye. The answer goes all the way back to my childhood. Ever since I was young, I've always doodled while learning, listening, or thinking. Without even realizing it, drawing became my way of focusing and processing the world around me. One of my favorite little doodles was a spunky elephant that seemed to appear in the margins of every notebook I owned. That lifelong love of doodling, combined with my passion for creating colorful apparel and meaningful gifts, made Doodle-n-Dye feel like the perfect name.
